FOSSIL LOGIC PROJECT-BASED CONTRACT POLICIES
I understand that project-based contracts define the scope, responsibilities, and expectations for every engagement. These policies guide Fossil Logic to operate responsibly, consistently, and transparently when delivering project-based services to U.S.-based clients.
Scope and Deliverables
All project-based engagements have clearly defined deliverables and timelines. The project scope is documented in the contract or accompanying Scope Summary. Any work outside the agreed scope requires a formal Change Order to ensure clarity, accountability, and proper resource allocation.
Fees and Payment
Fees for project-based work are explicitly stated in the contract. Payment schedules are agreed upon before work begins, and no deliverables are released prior to receipt of the required payment. Changes to fees or schedules are addressed only through formal contract amendments or Change Orders.
Communication and Accountability
Email is the primary line of communication. Verbal approvals, chats, or informal messages do not constitute binding changes to scope, schedule, or deliverables. Fossil Logic maintains transparency in all client communications and takes personal responsibility for project progress and quality.
Delivery and Acceptance
All deliverables are produced according to documented specifications, tested, and delivered with supporting documentation. Acceptance by the client is clearly defined in the contract. Fossil Logic ensures that all project outputs meet the agreed standards of correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
Change Management
Any modifications to scope, deliverables, timeline, or cost must be documented in a formal Change Order, reviewed, and approved by both parties. Unapproved changes are not implemented, preserving project integrity and predictability.
Confidentiality and Security
All project-related information, code, and data are handled securely and in accordance with Fossil Logic’s Security Policy. Confidential information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis and never exposed without authorization.
Why Policies Matter
Project-based contract policies ensure that every engagement is clear, accountable, and disciplined. By adhering to these policies, Fossil Logic delivers predictable, reliable, and secure software to American clients while maintaining professional integrity and long-term trust.
